Born behind a shop counter

I am a shopkeeper’s son. For years I watched my father struggle with his till software: subscriptions that cost an arm and a leg, demanding contracts you could never get out of, bugs at the busiest times and a helpdesk nobody could ever reach. Every breakdown meant customers waiting and money lost.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Kassio Tec runs entirely on your computer. You can keep selling even when the internet is down.

Can I keep my Bancontact terminal?

Yes. You keep using your usual terminal and record the card payment in Kassio Tec. No commission is taken on your sales.

Is it suitable for restaurants and snack bars?

No. In Belgium, hospitality businesses serving meals on site must use a certified cash register system (SCE/GKS). Kassio Tec is designed for retail shops. If in doubt, ask your accountant.

What happens if my computer breaks down?

Kassio Tec makes an automatic backup every day, and can also copy it to a USB stick or OneDrive. You get all your products, sales and customers back on a new computer.

I have two tills or two shops.

No problem. An extra till costs €199, and the head-office module (€399) brings the figures and stock of all your shops together on one screen.

Can I see the software before buying?
